Why it’s special
- 100 % extra fine merino wool, machine-washable and “felt-free” (i.e. it doesn’t mat or shrink easily).
- 50 g ball gives approx 160 m of yarn.
- Recommended needles: 3.0 – 3.5 mm
- Tension/gauge: ~ 24 sts × 34 rows per 10 cm
What you can do with it
You can knit this yarn as-is (the standing stitch definition is lovely), or pair it with a soft “halo” yarn — for example a mohair or airy fluffy like Lanagrossa’s SetaSuri — to give your garments a gentle caress of fuzz without losing structure.
Because it doesn’t “felt up” (seriously, it resists unwanted felting), it’s great for layering pieces, garments you want to take care of gently, and projects where you want stitch clarity plus softness.
