High Country Hideaway was created to capture that exact feeling of escape.
Dyed by Laura of Yarn Phase, this is a truly local yarn in the deepest sense of the word. The merino comes from The Grumpy Merino station in Culverden. It’s grown in North Canterbury, processed in North Canterbury, and hand dyed right here too. From paddock to skein, it’s ours.
And we are ridiculously proud of that.

Some shades are beautifully solid. Others carry gentle tonal shifts. All of them are designed to work together effortlessly for colourwork, fades, stripes, or those “I want something special” moments.

We recommend alternating two skeins if using more than one to ensure even colour distribution.
Each batch is unique. Photos are indicative and colour may vary slightly.
Hand wash only in cool water using a gentle wool detergent. Lay flat to dry.
