The Deep Raglan is the ultimate cosy winter sweater — deep sleeves, crew neckline, and those gorgeous balloon cuffs that make it ridiculously comfortable. It's knit in the round as one piece from the top down, so there's zero seaming to worry about. The neckline is picked up and knit, then folded to the inside and hand sewn in place.
This one's for intermediate knitters and above — a really satisfying project if you're ready for it.
Why You'll Love It:
- Designed to be worn with 5–20 cm / 2–8" ease — the model wears it with about 32 cm / 12.5" of positive ease for that relaxed, drapey look
- Works beautifully with lofty, lightweight yarns like single-ply, mohair, possum blends, silk blends, or alpaca in 8 ply/DK weight (or sometimes 4–5 ply/sport — just check your gauge first)
- You could also try 3–4 ply yarn held double with laceweight mohair for extra softness
- This is a printed pattern that will be posted to you
- Locally stocked and shipped from Rangiora
