About the Designer
Katrina Robinson started Purl Foundry because she wanted knitting patterns that are clear and modern with finished garments that look well made. Coming from a background in the sewing pattern world, she's always loved working with yarn, textiles and interesting construction.

Purl Foundry grew out of a love for slow, thoughtful making, where the process matters just as much as the final result. Katrina focuses on patterns with clean lines, wearable shapes and clear instructions. Every design comes with video tutorials to support knitters through any tricky parts, whether they're newer to knitting or have been stitching for years.

Beyond patterns, Purl Foundry also designs knitting tools and accessories that are useful, simple and nice to look at — because the small details matter too.
