The Holiday Slipover is that beautifully chunky, throw-on-and-look-fantastic piece we all wish we had in our wardrobe. Itβs worked top-down in smooth stockinette, beginning with the back of the yoke, then the shoulders, the front yoke, and finally the body. Deep armholes, a clean neckline, and a split hem (with the back sitting slightly longer) give it that modern, effortless shape.
Once the body is complete, the neckline and armholes are finished with tidy ribbing and a polished Italian cast-off. Throughout the pattern, three strands are held together to achieve that cosy, cloud-like texture β two strands of a main yarn and one strand of a soft, airy mohair.
Itβs a quick, satisfying knit with dramatic results.
