The Holiday Slipover is a chunky, relaxed vest with deep armholes and a beautifully finished split rib hem. Worked from the top down in stockinette stitch, this pattern creates a textured, layered piece perfect for transitional seasons.
Construction Details
This slipover is knitted seamlessly from the top down, beginning with the back yoke, then the shoulders, followed by the front yoke, and finally the body. The split rib edge at the hem features a longer back section for a flattering drape. Rib edges frame the neckline and armholes, all finished with an Italian cast-off for a polished, professional look.
Unique Technique
Three strands of yarn are held together throughout—two strands of a chunky base yarn combined with one strand of fine silk mohair—creating exceptional depth, warmth, and a luxurious halo effect.
