A light, stretchy cardigan jacket with plenty of drape, Piper is a lovely handmade layer to throw over your favourite outfit. This Touch Yarns knitting pattern makes a satisfying weekend project, depending on your knitting pace.
The pattern includes instructions for two-colour stripes. Make it in one shade for a simple finish, or turn your mohair leftovers into a multicoloured version, ensuring you have 200 g of Touch Mohair 12 ply in total.
Construction
Worked in pieces on straight needles from the bottom up.
Size and fit
- Size: One size, designed to fit most
- Finished chest: Approximately 120 cm
- Shoulder-to-hem length: 53 cm
Piper has lots of stretch and drape and will stretch over time. Use the finished measurements as a guide when considering the fit.
Yarn requirements
2 x 100 g Touch Mohair 12 ply, or 200 g in total.
Needles
12 mm straight knitting needles.
