**The Fuzzy Wuzzy Beanie** is a soft, textured beanie worked in the round using two 12-ply yarns: a smooth merino for the brim and Alpaca Yarns Cloud (or similar onde/flette yarn) for the body.
The beanie is knitted inside out and turned at the end, so the fuzzy reverse side of the Cloud becomes the outside of the finished hat. It has a half-twisted rib brim, a simple turned brim transition, and a four-point crown with decreases worked on either side of four centre stitches.
The contrast between the smoother merino yarn and the fluffy flette yarn is a big part of the finished look, while still keeping the beanie warm, soft and lightweight.

Baby (Small, Medium, Large)
Designed to fit from baby through to adult head sizes.
Gauge
Stockinette in Cloud on 6 mm needles:
15 sts x 19 rows = 10 cm
Half-twisted rib in merino on 5.5 mm needles:
22 sts x 24 rows = 10 cm
*Gauge is measured in the round.*
If substituting yarn, choose a smooth 12-ply merino or similar yarn for the brim and make sure you can achieve the required gauge.
