Refined, relaxed, and quietly striking — the Terrazzo Slipover is a wardrobe essential with a considered edge. Worked top down with a beautifully structured turtleneck and side-slit hem, this sleeveless design sits closer to the body than our oversized styles, with a flattering 13 cm of positive ease that skims rather than swamps. The twisted rib collar and armhole edges create a crisp, defined finish that elevates every outfit it’s paired with.
Designed by Petite Knit, this intermediate pattern is worked in a single circular needle throughout — clean, minimal, and deeply satisfying to knit.

Yarn Weight
This pattern calls for an aran / 10 ply yarn held together with a laceweight / 2 ply mohair — equivalent to a single strand bulky (12–14 ply).
Needles
- 4 mm [US6] circular needles — 40 cm, 60 cm, and 80 or 100 cm (16, 24, and 32 or 40 inches)
Gauge
- 17 sts × 27 rows = 10 × 10 cm (4 × 4 inches) in stockinette stitch on 4 mm needles, after wash and blocking
- 22 sts × 24 rows = 10 × 10 cm (4 × 4 inches) in twisted rib (k1 tbl, p1 tbl) on 4 mm needles, after wash and blocking (for turtleneck collar)
Important: the recommended yarn will grow when washed. Always wash and block your swatch before measuring gauge.
Size Guide
The Terrazzo Slipover is designed with approx. 13 cm (5 inches) of positive ease — a relaxed but not oversized fit. Measure your bust circumference and choose the size that matches your measurement in the “Fits Bust” column. For example, a 90 cm bust should knit size S (finished bust: 104 cm = 14 cm ease).
