A gorgeous 4 ply Polwarth wool, worsted spun for exceptional stitch definition — grown, processed, and hand-dyed entirely in Canterbury. Perfect for lightweight garments, shawls, and detailed colourwork.
Eleanor and Jack Patterson raise their Polwarth sheep just down the road from us in Rangiora. Each skein is hand-dyed in Eleanor's farm studio, creating colours with the kind of depth you only get from truly artisan dyeing. From paddock to skein, this yarn is as local as it gets — and when you knit with it, you're directly supporting a Canterbury farming family.
We stock up to four skeins per colour, which is generally enough for a garment (depending on the project!). If you need more than four skeins, please get in touch and we'll arrange a special order for you — allow a little extra time as Eleanor dyes to order.
We ship same day Mon-Fri for all orders recieved before 2:30pm. Our shippig guidlines for the different areas of NZ can be found here
