A little scarf with a beautifully neat finish, the Sophie Scarf combines garter stitch texture with built-in i-cord edges. Wear it with your favourite shirt or tuck it into a jacket for a cosy finishing touch.
Worked back and forth in one piece from tip to tip, Sophie comes in two sizes. The small size reaches around the neck once, while the large size can wrap around twice.

Yarn requirements
Designed for 5ply yarn, using approximately 115–150 metres. One ball is sufficient provided it contains the required metreage.
You can also use other yarn weights with an appropriate needle size. Changing yarn weight or gauge may affect the finished measurements and the amount of yarn required.

22 stitches × 42 rows = 10 × 10cm / 4 × 4 inches in garter stitch on 3.5mm needles.
Needles
3.5mm / US 4 circular needle with a 60cm / 24-inch cord.

The circular needle is used to knit back and forth, not in the round.
