The September Slipover is a beautifully textured, relaxed-fit slipover worked entirely in brioche stitch — a stitch that gives the fabric a wonderfully squishy, dimensional quality. Worked top-down, the back yoke is shaped first with increases, then the shoulders are picked up at the sides and worked separately before being joined to form the front. The body is then worked in the round to the hem, with rib edges picked up along the armholes at the end for a clean, polished finish.
Brioche stitch is notoriously stretchy, so take extra care when measuring your gauge swatch — wash it first and measure more than once to ensure an accurate result.
