Worked top down in stockinette stitch with set-in sleeves shaped using short rows, this sweater is finished with a folded double neckband and its signature embroidered decorative lines worked in duplicate stitch. Designed by Petite Knit, this advanced pattern is worked holding one strand of laceweight together with two strands of Silk Mohair (2 ply) — a combination that creates a uniquely light, halo-rich fabric equivalent to a worsted / 10 ply weight.

Needles

• 4 mm, 4.5 mm, and 5 mm circular needles — 40 cm (16 inches)
• 4.5 mm and 5 mm circular needles — 80–100 cm (32–40 inches)
• 4.5 mm double pointed needles

Gauge

17 sts × 24 rows = 10 × 10 cm (4 × 4 inches) in stockinette stitch on 5 mm needles.

Size Guide

The Scotty Sweater is designed with approx. 10 cm of positive ease at the bust. Measure your bust circumference and choose the size that matches your measurement below. For example, a 90 cm bust should knit size S (finished bust: 99 cm). If you are between sizes, choose the smaller size.
