Project Bags by Stitch Parade – Pre-order

A project bag should do more than hold your knitting. It should make it easier to take your work with you, keep everything in its place, and be lovely enough that you are happy to leave it sitting beside your chair.

That is exactly what we wanted from the Stitch Parade Project Bag.

Designed by Rebecca Jean, one of our team and a fashion graduate, each bag is made here in New Zealand and finished with a real focus on quality, usefulness and longevity.

The bag has a generous round base, a wide drawstring opening and a fully lined interior with 11 pockets in three sizes, so there is a proper place for needles, notions, scissors, tape measures and all the other small things that tend to disappear into the bottom of a project bag.

The fabrics are chosen just as carefully. Each release uses either ethically sourced fabrics from sustainable production in India or deadstock Liberty print fabrics.

Limited edition, by design

We are deliberately not making these in permanent colourways.

Each fabric is released in a limited run, and once that colourway is gone, it is gone. Future releases will feature completely new fabrics.

It means every Stitch Parade bag feels a little more individual, and it lets us keep choosing fabrics because we genuinely love them rather than trying to reproduce the same thing forever.
