Bring a handmade touch to Christmas with a knitted stocking ready for festive treats and little surprises. This generous stocking uses Patons Sierra 8 Ply, with three colourway options to suit your Christmas style.
Finished measurements Circumference:
42cm Length: approximately 50cm
Yarn requirements
Patons Sierra 8 Ply, 1 x 150g balls.
- Colourway 1: 1 ball of Palouse (6359), pictured left.
- Colourway 2: 1 ball of Arizona (4797), pictured bottom right.
- Colourway 3: 1 ball of Wyoming (3704), pictured top right.
Use only the yarn specified, as other yarns are likely to produce different results. Yarn quantities are approximate and may vary between knitters.
Needles and extras
- 4mm (UK 8) circular knitting needles, 40cm long.
- Two 3.25mm (UK 10) double-pointed knitting needles for the i-cord.
- Stitch marker.
- Wool needle for sewing the seam.
Tension 22 stitches and 30 rounds to 10cm over stocking stitch using 4mm needles. Correct tension is not essential; however, the stated measurements and yarn quantities are based on this tension.
