A beautifully structured top-down sweater with a clever construction and a polished finish — the Niels Sweater is a satisfying knit that works up into a classic, wearable everyday jumper. Designed with approx. 10cm of positive ease for a relaxed, comfortable fit. The folded rib neck edge with double knitting gives it a really refined, professional look.
Perfect yarn match: This pattern is ideal for knitting in Crucci Aella 8ply or Wool Yarn Co 8ply — both meet the 20 sts gauge on 4mm needles beautifully.
Construction
Worked top-down with short rows and increases for the back yoke, then shoulders picked up and worked outward. The yoke, body, and sleeves are all worked in the round — body on a circular needle, sleeves on DPNs or Magic Loop. Finished with a folded double-knit rib at the neck.

- 4mm circular: 40, 60, 80 and/or 100cm
- 3.5mm circular: 80 and/or 100cm
