A perfectly coordinated winter set — the Melody Beanie and Scarf pattern (w903) from Cleckheaton delivers a beautifully textured beanie and a generously sized scarf, both worked in the ever-popular Country Naturals 8 Ply. Natural fibres, a classic main pattern stitch, and a pom pom-topped beanie make this a rewarding project and a wonderful handmade gift.
The pattern can be knitted as a full set or as a beanie only — yarn quantities are provided for both options.
Pattern Details
- Yarn: Cleckheaton Country Naturals 8 Ply, 50g balls — colourway 1850 Cherish
- Needles: 3.75mm (UK 9) and 4.5mm (UK 7)
- Tension: 24 sts and 30 rows to 10cm over main pattern (slightly stretched) using 4.5mm needles
- Extras: Pom pom maker; wool needle for finishing
