The Louisiana Sweater Junior is a beautifully simple, cosy children’s sweater worked from the top down with classic raglan increases. The neckline is finished with a folded rib edge that is knitted together for a soft, comfortable fit, while the sleeves and hem feature neat, snug ribbing.

Designed to be both warm and lightweight, this sweater is ideal for active kids and everyday wear. The pattern is beginner-friendly, works up quickly on large needles, and is a great introduction to top-down garment construction.

The sleeves have tight-fitting ribbed cuffs, and the Italian bind-off is recommended at the cuffs and hem for a stretchy, professional finish.

This is a printed pattern, not a digital download.
