The Eva Cardigan is a structured, classic cardigan worked from the top down with a deep V-neck and a bold ribbed front placket.
You begin by working the top of the back yoke flat, shaping it with increases. Stitches are then picked up for the shoulders, which are worked separately before being joined. The rest of the yoke is worked with increases to shape the V-neck.
From there, the body is worked back and forth in one piece, and the sleeves are picked up and worked in the round. The cardigan is finished with a wide 2 × 2 rib front band, giving it that clean, slightly tailored look.
This is one of those pieces that looks simple, but the structure and finishing details really make it feel polished when worn.

Choosing Your Yarn (this matters more than you think)
If you want this cardigan to look like the original — with that slightly crisp, structured finish - go for a non-superwash wool.
A yarn like this holds its shape beautifully and gives you that clean, tailored feel through the body and ribbing. (Outlaw Yarn's Rebel Worsted woul be a great fit)
There are some excellent budget-friendly options in this category that behave very similarly, so you don’t need to go high-end to get a great result.
