The Emmy Top is a sleek, body-skimming knit designed with negative ease for a close, confident fit. Worked bottom-up in the round in stockinette stitch, the front and back yokes are shaped separately with side decreases, then finished with beautifully crafted double-knit straps that are folded and grafted onto the back with Kitchener stitch — a refined detail that sets this top apart.
Knit your swatch and wash it before measuring — the recommended yarns will grow with wash and wear, and the finished top will ease out by a couple of centimetres [an inch or so] after blocking. Factor this into your size choice for the best result.

The Emmy Top is designed with approx. −8 cm [−3¼ inches] of negative ease — it is designed to be smaller than your bust measurement for a close fit. For example, a 90 cm [35½ inch] bust = size S (82 cm / 32¼ inch finished bust).

The top is worked with two strands held together throughout, fingering and lace, this could also be substituted with a DK.
