This pattern is designed for a single strand of luxury fingering / 4-ply yarn.

Think:

• Fine merino

• Silk blends

• Linen or cotton blends

• Alpaca-merino blends with good stitch definition

Lightweight, breathable yarns work best — this is not intended to be fluffy or bulky.

This is why it looks like “a lot” of metreage — fingering always does.
