The Core Sweater is one of those knits that just works — cosy turtleneck, set-in sleeves, split cuffs, and a beautifully relaxed fit. It's knit seamlessly from the top down, which makes it really satisfying to work through.
The construction starts at the back, then you work each front to match before picking up stitches at the shoulders to shape the sleeves. Join it all at the yoke, knit in the round to the underarms, set the body aside while you finish the sleeves, then come back to knit the body in the round to the hem. Finish with the ribbed neck and you're done.
