Alpaca Yarns Sox 4 Ply is a luxurious blend of 70% alpaca and 30% nylon, combining the incredible softness and warmth of alpaca with the durability and elasticity of nylon — everything you need in a perfect sock yarn. Knitted up into socks, this yarn produces a fabric that is beautifully soft against the skin, naturally warm, and hard-wearing enough to last season after season.

What makes this yarn extra special is its easy wash finish — a new process that makes this alpaca yarn fully machine washable and tumble dry safe, so your handknitted socks can be cared for with ease. The yarn is dyed using a kettle dye system that creates rich, interesting blends of colour with beautiful depth and variation — no two skeins are ever quite the same.

Available in a wonderful range of colours from rich solids to gorgeous melange shades, this is a yarn that makes sock knitting an absolute joy from cast-on to cast-off.
