The Maggie Cardigan is a beautifully structured, lightweight cardigan worked from the top down. The back yoke is worked first, flat and back and forth, shaped with increases. Each shoulder is then worked separately from stitches picked up along the top of the back yoke.

Stitches are picked up along the shoulders, and the remainder of the yoke and body is worked flat on a circular needle. The sleeves are worked in the round from the armholes, using double-pointed needles or the Magic Loop technique. To finish, neat ribbed plackets are worked along the front edges and around the neckline.

This design has a refined silhouette with gentle shaping and a polished finish — ideal for knitters who enjoy detail without fuss.

Size Guide

The Maggie Cardigan is designed to have approximately 5 cm of positive ease, meaning it is intended to be slightly larger than your actual bust measurement.

To achieve the correct fit, it is important to knit to the stated gauge. Always knit, wash, and block a swatch before beginning.
