A lovely wardrobe staple to carry you through the seasons, the Sam Vest knitting pattern from Touch Yarns features classic stocking stitch in soft Touch Merino 8 ply / DK. Layer it over a favourite shirt or top, or make it your own with extra colours or your own moss stitch or cable modifications.
Finished measurements and yarn requirements
Finished chest measurements are approximate. Yarn quantities are for Touch 8 ply in 50 g balls.
- Finished chest 102 cm: Length 50 cm; 6 x 50 g balls
- Finished chest 114 cm: Length 60 cm; 7 x 50 g balls
- Finished chest 126 cm: Length 65 cm; 8 x 50 g balls
If you wish to lengthen the vest, the original yarn guidance suggests allowing one extra 50 g ball for every additional 10 cm of length.
