The Linea Sweater is an elegant, oversized knit worked from the top down. You begin with the back yoke, shaped using short rows for a gentle curve, and a contrast-coloured line is added along the cast-on edge to highlight this shaping. Stitches for the shoulders and front are then picked up along this line, and the yoke grows into a beautifully balanced design.
The body is worked back and forth until the underarms, then joined and worked in the round. The sleeves are knitted from picked-up stitches, and the neckline is finished with a clean ribbed edge. The result is a soft, architectural sweater with striking lines and a relaxed, modern fit.

Yarn Type Needed
The Linea Sweater is designed for a DK / 8-ply wool that gives body, structure, and crisp stitch definition. Youβll also need a small amount of the same yarn type in a contrast colour for the decorative line across the back yoke.
Choose yarn that:
-
sits in the DK / light worsted category
-
meets the gauge of 18 sts Γ 26 rows = 10 cm on 4 mm needles
-
has enough structure to support the oversized shape
