The June Top is a simple, elegant summer knit worked from the bottom up. The body is knitted in the round in smooth stockinette stitch before being divided into front and back, which are finished separately. A beautiful feature of this design is the option to work the top from the middle using a provisional cast-on β perfect if you want the freedom to adjust the length at the very end.
The neckline at the back is intentionally lower, but still high enough to comfortably cover bra straps. All edges are finished with a neat, delicate i-cord for a polished look.
Sizing & Fit
The June Top is designed with approximately 5 cm of negative ease, giving it a close but comfortable fit.
Designed to fit bust:
80β85 (85β90) 90β95 (95β100)
100β110 (110β120) 120β130 cm

If you prefer a slightly looser fit, simply size up β the simple silhouette makes it very forgiving.
Yarn Type Needed
You can knit the June Top in one of two ways:
Option 1 β Two strands of light 4-ply / fingering yarn held together
Creates a soft, drapey summer fabric with a little extra body.
Option 2 β One strand of light DK / summer plant-fibre yarn
Perfect for crisp stitch definition and breathable warm-weather wear.
Whichever you choose, make sure your yarn meets the gauge of:
20 stitches Γ 32 rows = 10 cm on 4 mm needles.
