Gauge: 22 stitches and 30 rows to 10 cm [4 inches] over stocking stitch using 4 mm [US 6] needles.
Sizing:
- Age 1-2 years (to fit 51 cm / 20 inches) – requires 5 x 50gm balls
- Age 3-4 years (to fit 56 cm / 22 inches) – requires 6 x 50gm balls
- Age 5-6 years (to fit 61 cm / 24 inches) – requires 7 x 50gm balls
- Age 7-8 years (to fit 66 cm / 26 inches) – requires 7 x 50gm balls
- Age 9 years (to fit 71 cm / 28 inches) – requires 8 x 50gm balls
- Age 10 years (to fit 76 cm / 30 inches) – requires 9 x 50gm balls
