The Hanstholm Sweater is a classic, wearable men’s-style sweater with a timeless shape and comfortable fit. It is worked from the top down with raglan increases through the yoke, allowing you to try it on as you go and adjust length if needed.
Short rows are worked after the ribbed neckline to shape the neck for a better fit, giving extra depth at the back without adding bulk at the front. The body and sleeves are then worked in the round and finished with neat ribbed edges.
This is a great project if you enjoy clean construction, practical design, and a sweater that will be worn for years.
The Hanstholm Sweater is designed to have approximately 6–13 cm of positive ease, depending on size and fit preference.
