This charming set features a delicate crew neck cardigan paired with a coordinating hat, both showcasing beautiful floral lace and bobble detailing. The cardigan displays these intricate motifs across the front panels and sleeves, while the lace-patterned hat offers two construction options—worked flat on straight needles or seamlessly in the round using double pointed needles.
The cardigan is designed with set-in sleeves and practical garter stitch front bands that are integrated as you knit the fronts, creating a polished finish. Both pieces are worked in 4ply (fingering) weight yarn, making them soft and gentle for baby's delicate skin.
Tension: 28 stitches and 36 rows to 10 cm [4 inches] over stocking stitch on 3.25 mm [US 3] needles.

- 0-3 months: fits 35 cm [14 inches] chest – requires 2 x 50gm balls
- 3-6 months: fits 40 cm [16 inches] chest – requires 2 x 50gm balls
- 6-9 months: fits 45 cm [17 inches] chest – requires 3 x 50gm balls
- 9-12 months: fits 47 cm [18 inches] chest – requires 3 x 50gm balls
- 12-18 months: fits 50 cm [19 inches] chest – requires 3 x 50gm balls
Hat Sizing:
- 0-3 months: fits 35 cm [14 inches] head circumference
- 3-6 months: fits 40 cm [16 inches] head circumference
- 6-12 months: fits 45 cm [18 inches] head circumference
- 12-18 months: fits 48 cm [19 inches] head circumference
You Will Need:
- One pair each of 2.75 mm [US 2] and 3.25 mm [US 3] knitting needles, and/or one set each of 3.25 mm [US 3] and 4 mm [US 6] double pointed needles
- Stitch holder
- 5-6 buttons for cardigan
