No Frills Sweater by Petite Knit

The No Frills Sweater is one of those go-to knits you’ll reach for again and again.

It’s a simple top-down raglan sweater with a slightly oversized fit, balanced by wide rib edges and a shorter length that gives it a really flattering shape. The neckline is shaped at the front for a comfortable fit, and because it’s worked top down, you can try it on as you go and adjust the length to suit you perfectly.

It’s straightforward, wearable, and a great project if you want something relaxing that still looks polished.

Yarn notes

This design is worked with two strands held together:

• a fine merino or sock-weight yarn
• held with a silk mohair or halo yarn

This creates a soft fabric with a gentle fuzz and beautiful drape.

If you’d prefer to knit it in a single yarn:

• look for a yarn that gives you 21 stitches over 10 cm
• a DK or light worsted yarn is usually a good fit

Just keep in mind:
