The Maggie Vest is a polished, wearable piece worked top-down for a seamless finish. You begin with the back yoke, knitted flat with gentle shaping, before picking up stitches to form each shoulder. The fronts are shaped with simple increases and decreases, then joined with the back at the underarm to create the body.
The body is worked flat in smooth stockinette, and the vest is finished with neat ribbed armholes and tidy plackets worked along the front and neckline. It’s a clean, classic style that layers beautifully over shirts, dresses, or tees — a perfect “all seasons” wardrobe piece.
