Moby Slipover

The Moby Slipover is one of those pieces that feels classic the second you put it on.

It’s worked from the top down in a beautiful combination of texture and cable patterns, giving it that timeless, slightly structured look. You begin with the back yoke, then work the shoulders and front before joining everything to work the body in the round.

Ribbed edges at the neckline and armholes keep it neat and wearable, whether you’re layering it or wearing it on its own.

You’ve got two great directions with this one, depending on the finish you want.

Option 1: Single yarn (structured, classic look)

• A DK to light worsted wool
• Something with good stitch definition so the cables and texture really pop
• This will give you a more traditional, slightly structured vest feel

Option 2: Held yarns (softer, slightly haloed)

• A fine wool yarn held together with a silk mohair or halo yarn
• Creates a softer fabric with a gentle fuzz and a more relaxed finish
