All the softness of Cool Wool, in a chunkier, faster-knitting DK weight. Cool Wool Big is a 100% extrafine Merino that knits up with beautiful stitch definition and a satisfying bounce — ideal for cosy sweaters, scarves, and accessories you can actually throw in the machine. Made in Italy, knits on 3.5–4.0mm needles.

  • Fibre: 100% extrafine Merino virgin wool (superwash)
  • Ball size: 50g / approx. 120m (131 yards)
  • Needle size: 3.5mm–4.0mm (US 4–6)
  • Tension: 19 sts x 26 rows over 10cm
  • Care: Machine washable on a cold gentle cycle; dry flat
