Millbrook (Singlet)

A lightweight summer singlet from Kiniki Knits — the Millbrook is designed to be a quick project with enough detail to keep things interesting. The front and back are worked identically, each featuring a deep V-neckline, gentle waist shaping, and perforated edging details along the neckline and armholes that give the finished top a refined, considered character. The edging requires a little attention but is well within reach for advanced-beginner knitters. Both pieces are worked flat from the bottom up and seamed at the sides and shoulders.

The top sits at mid-hip length with a naturally rolled hem for a relaxed finish — and the length is easily adjusted by working more or fewer rows before the waist shaping begins. Named after a summer family walk through the Millbrook estate in Otago, New Zealand, it has that same easy, unhurried quality.
