A fun and versatile two-colour beanie for the whole family, the Flurry Beanie (pattern w908) is worked in the round in a textured pattern stitch using Heirloom Merino Magic Medley 8 Ply. Available in five sizes from baby through to adult, this is a wonderful project to knit as a set of matching beanies — or to mix and match colourways for a personalised finish.
Worked on double-pointed needles (with the option to use a circular needle for the larger sizes), this pattern is a great introduction to in-the-round knitting.
Pattern Details
- Yarn substitutes we stock: Heirloom Merino Magic 8 Ply or Heirloom Merino Fleck 8 Ply are excellent alternatives — note that colourways and finished results will vary
- Needles: Set of 4mm (UK 8) double-pointed needles. A 4mm circular needle (40cm) may be used for larger sizes until crown shaping
- Tension: 22 sts and 36 rounds to 10cm over pattern using 4mm needles
- Extras: Wool needle for finishing
