Touch Yarns Pure Merino 8 Ply is 100% New Zealand Merino wool, machine washable, and possessed of a softness and stitch definition that makes it a genuine pleasure to work with on every project. Whether you're knitting baby garments, adult sweaters, or accessories, this yarn delivers a beautifully consistent result with the natural warmth and breathability that only Merino can offer.

At 100 metres per 50 g ball, it's a practical DK / 8 ply weight that suits a wide range of patterns and needle sizes. The superwash treatment means finished garments can go straight into the machine on a cold gentle cycle — a real advantage for anything that's going to be worn and washed regularly. The stitch definition is excellent, making it equally well-suited to textured stitch patterns, cables, and colourwork as it is to simple stocking stitch.
