The socks are worked from the cuff to the toe, beginning with a ruffle followed by a folded edge. The socks are knitted in stocking stitch, with the heel shaped using short rows.

EU shoe sizes: 35/36 (37/38) 39/40 (41/42) 43/44
US women's shoe sizes: 5–6 (6½–7½) 8–9 (9½–10½) 11–12
Yarn Requirements
4 ply sock yarn that achieves the stated gauge.
Quantity for two socks: 49 (53) 55 (56) 58 g, in the size order above. These quantities are based on yarn with 210 m [230 yds] per 50 g. Check the meterage of your chosen sock yarn when substituting.
Needles
2.5 mm [US1½] double-pointed needles.
Alternatively, a 2.5 mm [US1½] / 60 or 80 cm [24 or 32 inches] circular needle for the Magic Loop technique.
Gauge
30 stitches × 40 rows = 10 × 10 cm [4 × 4 inches] in stocking stitch on 2.5 mm [US1½] needles.
