Designed with portability in mind, the Cocoknits Needle Gauge Set is a compact and colourful tool that makes identifying knitting needle sizes quick and easy—whether at home, at knit night, or while travelling.

Inspired by jeweller's tools, this clever gauge features a stack of rainbow-coloured discs that swivel out for use and click neatly back together with tiny embedded magnets. Small enough to tuck into an Accessory Roll or project bag, it's the perfect companion for knitters on the go.

Each disc is clearly marked in both US and metric sizes, covering a wide range of knitting needles from US 0–15 (2–10mm). Made from biodegradable PLA plant fibre, the gauge reflects Cocoknits' commitment to thoughtful, sustainable design.

Materials:

• 100% biodegradable PLA (polylactic acid) plant fibre derived from fermented plant starch such as corn, beets, or sugar cane

How to use:
Swivel out a disc and insert your needle into the hole. The smallest hole your needle fits into indicates its size. If the needle doesn't fit, try the next size up. If there is excess space, try the next size down.

Please note: The discs are arranged in rainbow order (ROYGBV), but the starting colour varies from gauge to gauge and cannot be selected.
